IDENTITY & LAUNCH FOR ITV

ITVBe’s debut was a shimmering milestone in UK digital broadcasting, setting a record with the highest launch night viewing figures for any digital channel. It arrived amid a shifting entertainment landscape, aiming to redefine daytime and reality shows with a vibrant, social media-influenced brand.

I formed a bespoke in-house team to craft ITVBe’s unique on-air personality, blending traditional media with digital innovations. This approach led to the introduction of user-generated content (called Mydents), creating a dynamic and participatory viewer experience.

‘SURPRISES’ IDENT COMPILATION

The ‘social-first’ strategy extended across all elements, along with a multifaceted launch campaign covering print, digital and a star-studded launch event. ITVBe was not just seen but experienced, intertwining with viewers’ daily social media interactions to enhance both reach and relatability.

This strategic reimagining delivered a fresh, impactful channel that resonated deeply with viewers, significantly strengthening ITV’s position in the competitive digital landscape.
